Potatoes - 3 medium sized
Dry Red chilly - 1
Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
Urad dal 1/2 tsp
Jeera (Cumin) seeds - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - a few
Dhaniya powder - 1 tsp
Garlic 2 cloves
Curry Leaves
Oil
Turmeric powder, chilly powder & salt - as per taste
Method: -
Heat oil in a non stick skillet, on medium high, add urad dal,cumin,mustard seeds,garlic,dry chilli,curry leaves.
Reduce the heat to medium low.
Add sliced potatoes and stir.
Once the potatoes are golden brown and crisp add salt and cook for 3-5 minutes.
Now reduce the heat to low,
stir in the chilli powder,coriander powder .
Turn of the heat and shift into serving bowl .
Serve hot as side dish with any rice item.
